Airfix Bf-109F Afrika Korps

By Francis Lee

Model
Airfix 1/48

It is a very old tooling of Airfix of this Bf-109F, the overall shape is
nice however there are big gaps between the main wings and the body,
which needs alot of filling.

Diorama
I found some pic of airfields of Afrika Korps which ground attacks by the RAF made sandbags revetments a necessity of life in the desert. So I did the same for my diorama.

RAF P-40E Kittyhawk in North Africa

By Francis Lee

Model: (1/48 scale)
Arii / Otaki P-40E Kittyhawk

This is the same piece of model of my previous diorama of Aussie P-40E Kittyhawk. I removed the Aussie decals and then repainted the whole plane. I still have a set of US decals of this plane and I may repaint the same plane in the future.

Background:
The RAF Kittyhawks in North Africa were so famous, personally I like the
RAF desert camo. a lot. During my research of the P-40. I found footage and photos of the "Flying Tiger" in China which those crews were using
big tripod stand to pull up the P-40 engine from the plane to repair. I guess this may be a common situation in the war time so I apply that in this diorama.

"I love the smell of coffee in the morning!" Libya 1941 Diorama

by Michael Rieß

Here is the small diorama for my Panzer I B from Dragon. The figures were included.

I want to make a video about the build of the diorama (i filmed the whole work on that!), but i have some problems with the video software. I hope to fix that, because i want to show you how easy it is to build a small scene like this.
