US. M101 Howitzer & Jeep

Diorama background:
This is second part of my previous diorama of a German Panzerjager Marder 1 of Battle of Carentan 1944, On 12 June 1944, German Wehrmacht & the US troops started streets war in Carentan City of France, the defending German were lack of ammunition & withdraw from the city centre. This M101 Howitzer was very common field gun since World war II, the gun crews quickly set up the gun and prepare to fire shortly after the German & Marder 1 withdrew from the same broken hut.

Kawanishi N1K George

Diorama background:

In october 1945, it was 2 months after Japan surrendered, US Marines searched the remain of Japanese aircrafts in Japan mainland air bases.Here, four marines drove a Willys jeep in an air base of Yokosuka. The city is an important navy base with airports. They found a Kawanishi N1K2-J Shideankai (nick name George), the most powerful interceptor of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during Second World War.
