This here is a build completed back in x-mas time. Iv'e been a very lazy blogger to not of posted about this FM-1 Wildcat. The kit is in 1/48 scale and for a HobbyBoss kit it's really good! The rivets are a bit too big perhaps but that doesn't affect the model in a bad way! Rather on the contrary it ads a detail look to the model. No more talk about rivets, don't want to be a rivet counter!

China PLA Type 99B MBT
By Francis Lee

Model: (1/35 scale)
Hobbyboss China PLA Type 99B Main Battle Tank.
This model should be one of the best sell AFV models in 2009 in Hong Kong. China had the biggest ever, military parade on October 1 st, 2009. TV broadcasted the whole parade show, after I saw these tanks passed by the Chinese leaders at TV, I rushed to hobby shop to buy, I found few of them remain at the shelves! I bought it without thinking. The price was higher than normal, nevertheless, I still have a reason to buy coz my birthday was ahead on next day!
Background:
Type 99, also known as ZTZ-99 and WZ-123 is a third generation main battle tank (MBT) fielded by the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It is made to compete with other modern tanks. Although not expected to be acquired in large numbers due to its high cost compared to the more economical Type 96, it is currently the most advanced MBT fielded by China. The Type 99 was revealed in 2000 and entered service with the Chinese Army in 2001. Only a limited number of these MBTs are operational (approximately 200-300), because of the high unit price. This main battle tank shows a mixture of Russian and Western influence in it's design and technology.

M4 High Speed Tractor - Diorama of the Day
by Kasper Fischer
I have this Hobby Boss kit in my stash and I'm really been looking forward to getting started. Unfortunately I don't have as much time in the workshop as I would like. I guess that's something most of us have to deal with but then it's lucky we can look at other peoples work.
This Beautiful diorama of the M4 High Speed Tractor is done by K of Kawiarenka Modelarska. He is a Polish model builder on Blogspot and is deferentially worth following. He mainly builds Armor and AFV's but he also has some beautiful airplanes in his gallery.
