Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma

by Michael Rieß

This kit is from Dragon and in 1/35 scale. In my opinion it is one of the best kits from Dragon. Many well casted and detailed plastic parts, brass side marker and photo etched parts are included.
I had no troubles while assembling the kit, everything went together very quickly.
The model is painted with acrylic paints from Revell and weathered with MIG and Vallejo Pigments.
The model depicts a vehicle of the Panzer-Lehr-Division in Normandy, 1944.

T-55 Problems between the scale (1:72 vs 1:35)

by Japato

I built weeks ago an T-55 wit BTU 55 by Trumpeter (1:72 scale).

The Model kit is usual excellent to the chains, which component is rubber or vinyl.

My Problem :

I can't build with such a chain a realistic model =/.

The ideal:
The ideal of this T-55 was a iranian T-55 model.

The model:
I worked with mig and vallejo pigments. Also with vallejo colours.
it's a shame to see my model with this chains =/ It's the reason I only build models in scale 1:35

The Arrangement:

Thats my T-55 with BTU 55 (Trumpeter 1:35):

I built the model a year ago.

The Kit:
It's an old model kit of Trumpeter. Old but blameless =)

you can compare the kit with these:
http://www.modellversium.de/kit/artikel.php?id=1249

the ideal:

The T-55 arise from the NVA of the German Democratic Repubilc. The T-55 was used in the "Panzerregiment 15" of my hometown Cottbus. (Near Cottbus was an giant drill ground.)

the Model:

it isn't a perfect model but an substantial progress for me

BTR-80 (1/72 Trumpeter)

Thank you to admit me to the Modelleurs Workshop ! =)

I'm a friend of russian (sovjet) AFV's.

So I want to present my new BTR 80 of the russian Army.

The Model:
The quality of the parts is blameless. You'll needn't many time to build the BTR 80.

The Scale:

It's realy special for me to built a model in 1:72. So the BTR 80 is a exemption. I usual build models in 1:35

The grad of my work:

I bought me a new Airbrush-Gun weeks ago, so the BTR 80 is a test model.

The Diorama:

I built the Diorama in standart (0/815) form. =)

I hope to keep up with your models =)

Operation Barbarossa diorama 1/35 scale

by Hamilkar Barkas

I had the idea for this diorama several months ago, but it took me quite a while to dispel some problems.
The base is a wooden chopping board. I designed the ground with modelling clay "Fimo air", which is beneficial and easy to use. The grass on the diorama is from Heki, the tree is from Verlinden and the other green stuff is selfmade. I painted the diorama with an airbrush afterwards. The Panzer III F is a Smart Kit from Dragon, the Ba-3 armored truck is from Zvezda. The figures are from Dragon aswell. All small details like the telegraph pole, the little cart and the fence are from Mirage Hobby. I used quite a lot of MIG and Vallejo Pigments for weathering, especially around the wreck to simulate scorch marks.

Chow time!

By Dino Krafczyk

Here are some pics of a diorama I made some time ago. Since then I found a better technique to paint the oak leaf pattern and figures in general. But I'm still proud of this work and would like to share it with you.

The SdKfz 222 and the field kitchen are from Tamiya, the infantry figures are from Dragon.

The antenna is a thin E-guitar string. I always use guitar strings for antennas. This thing won't break, but you might poke it into your eye if you don't take care!

Doesn't the stew look tasty?! ;)

Btw: I made the fence using the wooden sticks you get at McDonald's to stir the coffee. Very useful stuff for modelbuilders..

Thanks for watching. I hope you liked it. And, in case I got you hungry: enjoy your meal! :)

Dragon 1/72 M3A2 ODS Bradley

by Kasper Fischer

Photobucket

Well, finally it's roll-out time for the 1/72 M3A2 ODS Bradley. It's has been long over-due but I'm not touching that model again so we are calling it done. This Dragon kit was a real delight and I can only recommend it to others and if you push on, it should be no problem completing over a weekend.

Flames of War(FoW) on the spring premier

by Kasper Fischer

[so_signal]

due to technical problems everything has been delayed...

I have been a hard week and much struggling to get this show on the road but it's coming and it really should be much easier next time. I was up, editing for almost 48 hours straight to get the program finished but yesterday night, I had to throw the towel in and get some sleep.
This means the show is delayed...

I have decided to get an FoW(flames of war) army and will be doing a display diorama in 1:100 in this season. One of my good friends form YouTube makes game pieces and I ordered a few things to make an interesting set-up. The scene will be from the early years and feature British troops. That much is sure. I'm thinking defensive positions at Dunkirk or something like that  but the rest is still just ideas.

1/9 1914 Cyclone Racer (paper)

by Vladimir Paraskeva

I want to show some of my paper motorcycles. All models - homemade, and made a 1:9 scale. However, these models also contain metal parts: it's spokes, and some elements of the frame.

This is my favorite model, built at the end of last year. In this model, the parts of the chain of laser cut..
